Temporary Classrooms
A temporary classroom is a type of portable, modular building installed at a school to quickly provide some additional classroom space where there is a shortage of capacity. These mobile classrooms are designed to be a safe, comfortable and productive environment for both pupils and teachers.
Flexibility and adaptability
Thanks to their modular structure, these portable classroom buildings are easy to expand upwards with a multi-storey structure, adding up to four storeys, and outwards with multiple layout options and unlimited floor area, depending on the requirements.
These portable classrooms are designed to be relocatable and can be removed once the temporary classroom capacity improves, however, with multiple design options and durable structure, they can be a permanent addition for a school.
The units can be constructed to accommodate any size of classroom. They are available to hire or buy and can be delivered and ready to use in days, in order to meet even the most urgent requests with minimal disruption to your school.
A sample layout for a double classroom block, incorporates two large classrooms, a central cloakroom and toilet. With generous 64m2, these classrooms are considerably larger than average and exceed Department for Education (DfE) guidelines on classroom size.
