Strip cladding CLEAR ELLIPTICAL LOUVERS

This one of a kind pattern was manufactured at Powerwood by drying 2×8 clear and edge gluing it to make 2×16. It was then run through our 16 x 36 pinheiro planer to create a very unique elliptical shaped louver. You can see in these pictures that the material was used in a design married up with tapered poles which were also manufactured by Powerwood. The two items were used on the exterior of a building in the UK to provide a shade screen for the building. Only to be used one time, Powerwood custom designed and manufactured this pattern. For only a minimal cost to the customer, we were able to design this irregular shaped polygon using our CAD template design equipment. The project required all 11+12 lengths in clear vertical grain.
