The LUXOR door is, without a doubt, a typical bohemian door. The original meaning of Bohemian was the gypsies, and the word originates in the 15th century when the Bohemian king banished all the gypsies from his land to France, where they lived in closed communities. Later, around the 19th century, this name was taped to artists and artisans leading an unusual permissive way of life, like in the famous Puccini opera, La Boheme. The acceptable definition of bohemian today is: “an individual with artistic or spiritual tendencies, who lives without any consideration of the acceptable rules and regulations”
