Mechanical X-CYCLONE® high-performance separation system, protected by international patent rights, suitable for the efficient separation of aerosols; separator of construction type A according to DIN 18869-5, approved for use as type A equipment in accordance with DIN EN 16282 and DIN 18869-5, consisting of flame-arresting stainless steel high-performance profiles; wear-free and suitable for cleaning in the dishwasher. A lifelong guarantee is granted for the Basic Aerosol Separator Elements, type X-CYCLONE®! The effectiveness and function of the aerosol separator shall be demonstrated by CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) flow simulation. Flame-arresting capability tested in accordance with DIN 18869-5; evidence of the successful testing in accordance with DIN 18869-5 is to be provided, test certificates are to be submitted. The inflow velocities, pressure drops and sound pressure levels are to be specified and the DIN and TÜV test certificates to be submitted. The separating efficiency is to be specified in accordance with VDI 2052 and the results of the efficiency testing in accordance with DIN 18869-5 and DIN EN 16282 to be submitted. An approved expert report with detailed documentation and logging of the separation performance is to be enclosed with the offer. Simple specification of the separation efficiency in percent without details on particle sizes is considered insufficient. Should the separation performance prove to be insufficient during operation, the Ordering Party reserves the right to verify it by measurements at the Contractor’s charge in the framework of the warranty.
