OverviewManufactured in France and certified ORIGINE FRANCE GARANTIE (BV Cert. 18520033), GLASS PAVING paving stones create transparent or translucent horizontal surfaces that transmit light between levels. Available in single-walled (simple hollow) and double-walled constructions, in square or round formats, with a variety of visual finishes and specific fire-rated references when required.

Design & applicationsGlass paving stones modulate light and depth across floors and vaults, enabling architectural compositions that combine transparent or translucent walking surfaces with controlled daylighting or artificial illumination. Suitable for interior and exterior use depending on reference and mechanical/fire performance: floor slabs, vaulted pavements, basement light wells, pedestrian surfaces and specific hospitality or commercial applications.
Manufacturing processPaving stones are formed by pressing a drop of glass at approximately 1050°C. Simple hollow units are annealed at about 560°C to relieve stresses. Double-walled units are welded at around 800°C, trapping a rarefied air gap between two shells. Finishes (transparent, striated, ribbed, martele, smooth) are achieved through forming and surface treatment, influencing light transmission and slip characteristics.
Examples of installationsThe range has been implemented in Helix pavement vaults, business-centre vaults and illuminated basement streets, demonstrating suitability for curved vaults, diamond-helix patterns and large-scale architectural projects.
