Applications and visual effect
GLASS PAVING units produce controlled light transmission and reflections that emphasize building lines and add perceived depth. Suitable for exterior pavements, pedestrian streets, basements, luminous flooring in commercial kitchens or public buildings, stair treads, and decorative vaulted or glazed floor elements.

Manufacturing process
Formed by pressing a drop of glass at approx. 1050°C. Simple hollow elements are annealed at about 560°C to relieve internal stress. Double‑walled (insulated) units are welded at approx. 800°C, trapping a rarified air layer between two glass shells to improve thermal performance.

Available shapes and features
  • Single‑walled (simple hollow) and double‑walled (insulated) constructions
  • Square and round formats
  • Surface finishes: smooth, striated, ribbed, martele (hammered)
  • Fire‑resistant variants with certified EI30, EI60 and EI90 ratings
  • Standard sizes: examples from 12 x 6 cm to 19 x 19 x 16 cm
