Architectural benefits
The range allows designers to create continuous or patterned surfaces that transmit or diffuse light between levels, emphasize building lines and produce controlled light effects. Square and round formats and multiple surface finishes enable integration in public spaces, galleries, commercial interiors and residential projects.

Manufacturing process
Pressed from a glass drop at approximately 1050°C, single hollow units are annealed at 560°C to relieve internal stresses. Double-walled elements are welded at around 800°C, trapping a rarefied air chamber between two glass shells to form insulating units.

Applications & design notes
Suited to pavements, light wells, illuminated floors and vaulted structures where light passage or luminous effects are required. Use fire-resistant references for applications with certified fire performance. Consider orientation, backing structure and seal details for exterior installations and load-bearing requirements for pedestrian traffic.
