Description

STRIP MADE OF POLYURETHANE ELASTOMER IN DIFFERENT HARDNESSES AND DIMENSIONS Covers a wide range of loads, from 1 to 230 kN/m. Permanently elastic. Free of softeners or other volatile substances. Clear identification of products Thanks to the colour scheme. Quick and easy installation applicable using common woodworking tools. Improvement of acoustic insulation.Approved by the Holzforschung Austria company. In both types of sound propagation (air-borne and structural transmission) it is indispensable to adapt adequate structural connection techniques between buildings having different acoustic characteristics. Besides the acoustic properties of the single building components – walls and floors - the meeting points of same considerably affect the sound quality of the entire building. Sound does not propagate only directly through an element, but it also seeks a lateral transmission path called flanking. The high-quality elastic strips Absorber Stripehave reached 8 db soundproofing power quality improvement for structural transmission and a 14 db improvement for air-borne transmission. Further improvements are possible. In order to achieve such high results it is important to obtain an excellent ratio between elasticity and stability of the acoustic strips.
