With a dark tint throughout, it has the highest flexural strength of all NEXTREMA® variants, able to withstand up to 165 megapascals. Other key features are its excellent transmission capacity for infrared radiation and near-zero thermal expansion, making it ideal for indoor and outdoor heaters in both domestic and industrial settings. Extraordinary bending strength of up to 165 MPa (for 4 mm thick glass-ceramic). Reduction of visible light in combination with high infrared transmission. Good transmittance for IR radiation. High degree of resistance to temperature shocks of up to 800°C and a linear thermal expansion coefficient of almost zero. Attractive covers for indoor and outdoor radiant heaters.
