Out of all NEXTREMA® variants, opaque grey boasts the highest heat insulation thanks to its low overall transmission in the IR spectrum. This opaque glass-ceramic is used in a wide range of industries, in applications where the transmission of radiation in visible light and the IR spectrum needs to be kept to a minimum. Able to serve as a decorative element in product design, this unique material is also highly heat resistant, able to withstand temperatures up to 950°C.
