Sliding door pocket system ESSENTIAL ACOUSTIC

From the evolution of Essential sliding doors, comes the acoustic solution, free from doorposts and edging trims: a counter frame and a door that are characterised by their exceptional soundproofing performance. Scrigno is launching a preview of a high-performance acoustic solution tested in accordance with UNI EN ISO 10140-2 standards: 2010 and UNI EN ISO 717-1:2013, which regulate, respectively, the measurement and laboratory assessment of sound insulation of buildings and their components. This innovative proposal uses an exclusive technology, which consists in placing mobile gaskets along the lower and upper perimeter of the door panel and on the counter frame, i.e. the two least insulating points in a classic sliding door. Tests were carried out on walls with thickness: •125 and 150 mm for plasterboard to achieve an overall acoustic insulation performance level of Rw=39 dB (-1;-3) •125 and 150 mm for plasterboard to achieve an overall acoustic insulation performance level of Rw=31 dB (0;-1)
