Sapiliège: The naturally insulating panel Simonin’s 30 years of knowledge and experience in the design and manufacture of timber components for construction, the sandwich panel Sapiliège® which is load bearing offers the complete solution for floors, ceilings and partition walls. Sapiliège® is constructed of two outer decorative timber faces with a central cork core; this insulation core is available in a selection of thicknesses. Sapiliège® panels are suitable for wide span floors and ceilings. They can also act as a partition wall as well suited for mezzanines, its design allows Sapiliège to adapt to many styles of interior designs: old, contemporary, modern, … The advantages of Sapiliège® insulation panels Selecting two high quality sanded wood sides, Sapiliège® allows you to achieve floor and ceiling in one step. More cost effective than a traditional design, Sapiliège® allows you to lighten your joists and beams. Sapiliège® benefits from thermal performance and sound insulation. Cork is a rot-proof material robust against rodents or insects. Cork is also hard to ignite. Species and finishes The Sapiliège® panels offer selected timber, a wide range of finishes and colours. Available with spruce, oak or ash surface.
