Overview The Regard modular lounge system supports times of transition to make waiting and in-between moments more meaningful in healthcare environments. It combines seating, planters, booths and casegoods to deliver configurable solutions for patient and visitor waiting areas, promoting comfort, privacy options and integrated technology. Features Integrated power – outlets integrated into surfaces and optional power in arm and cabinet components enable device charging and clinical workflows. Multiple postures – supports lounging, perching and task postures to give users control over posture during waits. Adaptable – approximately 150 components designed for easy assembly, reconfiguration and part replacement to address evolving facility needs. Cabinets (desk and media) support technology use and provide boundaries for focused tasks or private interactions. Tables in laminate or solid surface and multiple sizes coordinate with seating modules. Design and insights Regard was developed from research in more than 60 healthcare waiting rooms to address crowded, uncomfortable and unproductive waiting spaces. The system focuses on connections between people and technology while offering choice and control over privacy and posture. Sustainability Modular design uses interchangeable parts and design‑for‑reuse principles. Components are compatible with related product systems to support reuse and circularity.
