For our wood products we only use FSC-certified wood or wood from controlled wood sources. Info material surface - Teak is considered the best wood for outdoor furniture. Teak does not need to be impregnated or given any special protective treatment. STERN teak furniture is made from FSC®-certified plantation wood or comes from controlled wood sources. The high content of natural oils makes the wood particularly weather-resistant. Over time, teak acquires a distinctive, silver-gray patina. The influence of rain, heat and light can lead to small cracks. This is normal and does not affect the quality and lifespan of the furniture in any way.
