The Shrubtubs Oblong are elongated tree planters ideal for sidewalks and shopping streets. Their shape maximises planting area while fitting narrow urban corridors.

Materials & finish
Manufactured in Corten steel, which develops a protective weathered patina making it suitable for public spaces. An alternative double-layer powder coating finish is available in RAL colours.

Treetec™ Bottom Up - description and stages
With Treetec™ Bottom Up, a water reservoir at the bottom of the tub uses capillary tubes to improve water circulation and reduce watering frequency during the growing season. The biodegradable Bottom Up column gradually decomposes into the substrate.

• A Installation of the columns against the root cloth
• B Initial root growth into the column structure and first reduction of moisture-retaining fibres
• C Continued root growth in the columns and partial degradation of the cylindrical column
• D Fully integrated column structure replacing the original capillary column, providing optimal water and oxygen retention by the roots
