Overview
The Rough&Ready Italic Tree Isles feature angled planter walls that increase legroom and create a dynamic appearance. Structural parts are available in Corten steel, galvanised steel or powder-coated steel. Seating is provided as Rough&Ready beams (hardwood options such as Louro FSC or Douglas FSC-mix, or All Black beams) oriented crosswise to reduce skateboard contact. The units can be freestanding on a concrete base or embedded in the ground. Large trees may be anchored with a dedicated underground foundation. Standard embedment depth: 15 cm (6").
