- RS series rectangular duct fan for supply and extract air in industrial and commercial HVAC installations. Designed for high airflow applications with options for acoustic and thermal insulation.
- Available insulated variant (RSI) with 50 mm rockwool acoustic and thermal insulation.
- Offered with AC or high-efficiency EC external-rotor motors suitable for 50 Hz and 60 Hz operation.
- Service-friendly design with swing-out service lid and installation possible in any mounting position.
Main features
- Casing: galvanised sheet steel, corrosion class C3. Insulated RSI variant includes 50 mm acoustic/thermal insulation. Service cover carries the fan unit for easy removal and cleaning. External terminal box, protection class IP54.
- Impeller: single-inlet radial impeller with backward-curved blades, fiberglass-reinforced composite; dynamically balanced (VDI 2060, G 6.3) and matched to external-rotor motors.
- Motors: AC or EC external-rotor types. EC variants include integrated electronic motor protection, locked-rotor protection and soft-start; many EC variants provide potentiometer (0–10 V) and Modbus/alarm signals. AC motors may have thermal contacts (TK) or require external protection. Control options include multi-step or stepless regulators and frequency converters (accessories).
- Installation: rectangular inlet/outlet flanges (standard PG20). Use flexible connections to avoid vibration transfer to ductwork. Suitable for indoor installation and for elevated operating temperatures up to specified limits.
