Storage Layer HC40 has the function of detaining water. It reduces flow rates of the Urbanscape® Detention Green Roof assembly. The Storage Layer HC40 is always sandwiched between the Urbanscape Green Roll mineral wool layer (above) and the Detention Layer T5 (below). These two layers keep the honeycomb tubes open and free of soil debris.
