Happy news! The story of Siro+ continues as the family grows with a stool and a chair with armrests. Designed by Ilkka Suppanen and Raffaella Mangiarotti, Siro+ was originally introduced in 2013 and has gained recognition by winning the Interior Innovation Award in 2013 at IMM Cologne. Siro+ has also recently been added to the permanent collecion of Röhsska museum in Gothenburg. The new Siro+ stool is beautifully proportioned with the backrest lowered almost as if it were a handle. The armrest for the chair is made out of leather: it is wrapped lightly around the chair creating beautiful curves. Both the chair and the stool are a natural addition to the Siro+ collection. “We didn’t want to ruin the original Siro+ by designing it companions only for the sake of creating a new product. They had to have a role and a meaning.”
