At DOD, we know that innovative design is possible. Because we are more and more aware of and demanding in our consumption patterns, it is necessary to reinvent ourselves and offer alternatives that meet the world of tomorrow.

DOD is a creative workshop specialized in designing furniture and spaces, made from upcycled materials. We create and manufacture all of our projects by hand in our workshop in Ivry-sur-Seine.

DOD is aimed at professionals, public institutions, architects, decorators as well as individuals.

DOD's spirit borrow its inspirations from nature. It's rooted in its design.

Forest are a way for us to reconnect ourselves to our emotions to our authenticity and our freedom of creation.

Acquiring a DOD object is bringing joy and a piece of nature to your home, the wood of which has been reused, treated & sublimated (upcycled), with respect for its history.

LOVE OF WOOD

Wood is our designers and cabinet maker's material of choice. It triggers a singular emotion with each creation.

This natural, living material features uniqueness of asperities, reliefs, veins, traces of its past ... making it an exceptional raw material to work with.

MODULARITY OF OBJECTS

Each used object is designed to appeal to gestures, to assemblies. Posing one side, sliding it, cleating it to position as in a construction game.

Each geometric shape used is transformed, reversed, deconstructed and becomes a form of expression, of poetry.

RE-EMPLOYMENT & DESIGN

We give a 3rd life to old furniture and scrap wood by transforming them into design objects.

We like to confront this raw and old material with a modern design, to create eco-responsible & contemporary furniture.
