GRUPO MCI, founded in 1972 in Barcelona, is an international leading engineering and manufacturer company of integral architectural lighting solutions for indoor (hotels, retail, contract, shopping center, cinemas, etc.) and outdoor (façades, public areas, residential areas, etc.) lighting applications.

With 50 years experience in the lighting industry, the last 25 years the business focus of the company is on the research, development, and innovation (R+D+i), emphasizing lighting project design and exclusively manufacturing 100% with LED lighting products.

Currently, the company is made up of experienced and quality focused professionals with an extensive knowledge and background in developing a wide range of luminaires with the perfect balance between quality, energy efficiency and functionality.

GRUPO MCI Headquarter is located close to the Barcelona International Airport, with facilities encompassing over 8.000 square meters for R+D+i, engineering.

We have a solid R+D+i Department team that maintains direct contact with their customers based on a high standard of service and trust built over the past 50 years.

The R+D+i Department is comprised of mechanical engineers, electronical engineers, and product designers specialized in the research of high performance luminaires and development of innovative fixtures to meet the project specifications and requirements, while maintaining maximum energy efficiency and
functionality on each project.

The excellent technological level obtained by the company in the development and manufacturing of the products have enabled GRUPO MCI to obtain quality standard certificates, like ISO 9001 for quality management and CB certificates for the conformity assessment of electrical, electronic products and components.
