Isotex Srl represents the largest reality in the European market in the production of formwork blocks and wood cement slabs for the construction of buildings that respect the environment and all current regulations. The Isotex story began in Germany in 1946 and has been operating in Italy since 1985, building approximately 85,000 eco-sustainable and earthquake-proof homes, guaranteeing safety and experience. The Isotex® wood cement construction system can be used for residential, commercial, green building, social housing, public and private buildings.

Isotex® products fully comply with the UNI EN 15498 norm, availing itself of the CE Marking that allows it to market its formwork blocks and wood cement slabs all across Europe. It also has certifications for thermal, acoustic, anti-seismic, fire resistance, environmental sustainability, breathability, et cetera, all aspects that guarantee incredible safety and excellent living comfort.

Isotex: natural, high quality materials

For the production of all Isotex products, raw materials of the highest quality are used: 100% recycled fir wood, 99% pure Portland cement, iron oxide, water, to obtain a healthy product, free of additives and chemical substances. The wood is mineralised using a natural mineral, which makes it inert and therefore resistant to fire (REI120 - REI240), weathering and pests.

Great importance is also given to the quality and sustainability of the insulating insert inside the Isotex formwork block, as BASF's Neopor® BMBcertTM EPS insulation was chosen where up to 100% of primary fossil sources are replaced by sustainable and certified renewable sources, i.e. biomass.

Production is carried out entirely in the Poviglio (RE) plant with a state-of-the-art, fully automated and tested plant that allows high quality and precision products to be obtained. All this allows the company to brilliantly pass inspections by certifying bodies, to renew certifications on production processes and company organisation. In addition, the photovoltaic system reduces the need for electricity by around 50%.
