OCCITANIE PIERRES

In 1977, Jean-Luc Bertrand created a cottage industry of stone carving in ST-PIERRE LAFEUILLE, near Cahors. Passionated about design, architecture and old buildings, he worked primarily for the restoration of houses and some castles in the Quercy region.In 1993, after several years of collaboration with his brother Joel, they set up together the company OCCITANIE PIERRES for an industrial vocation by opening quarries of Borrèze and Auberoche in Perigord and the operation of workshops and sawmill in Saint-Henri next to the town of Cahors. Started with 15 employees the company is now counting around 50 people.

30 years of experience have enabled us to acquire a complete and efficient equipment (see tab "production tools"), to answer all types of projects. A commercial department is at your disposal to study each project, we have in particular the software Autocad to consult and create templaiting in 3D. We have been operating the quarries of Auberoche and Borrèze for more than 20 years, and know them in each detail, to ensure our customers a wide choice and incomparable quality. During our evolution we also improved the quality of our finishes and innovated in stone cutting, to propose new products and new finishes. Our knowledge and our reputation, make us, today, one of the French leader in stone cutting.
