The Inspiration:

We were looking on ourselves for handsome products which would suite "Mrs. Schmitt" our beautiful cat, but we could find nothing suitable at all.
Therefore we decided to design some special cat products and found some handcrafters to realise our ideas.
Mrs. Schmitt and all of us were so pleased with the results that we decided to found the company cat-interios.de to offer these exceptional cat furniture to the public

pet-interiors designs products which make the hearts of design fans beat faster, products which are well thought out with cats in mind and which can be integrated into any modern living environment.

Awarded the Design Prize for Upper Franconian Trade in 2005 and nominated to the Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany.

Design objective
Why must pet beds and scratching posts reveal their purpose at first glance?
Those who like to surround themselves with unusual design will find a small yet
fine collection of “furniture showpieces” at pet-interiors which can be combined
perfectly with a modern living environment.

Philosophy
In order to become part of the collection, our products must meet two criteria
which we scrutinise prior to production.
- Pets accept the product, use it and visibly feel happy with it.
- Unusual design transforms a normal piece of furniture for pets into a
“furniture showpiece”.

Product quality
Only the best is good enough for us. We use hardwearing felt made from pure
new sheep’s wool, high-quality, long-lasting fabrics, rattan wickerwork, leather, artificial leather and resilient metal for pet-interiors’ design creations.

Production
We are keen to mention that pet-interiors’ products are manufactured in Germany.
We enlist manufacturing companies in Upper Franconia to produce our high-quality
products. You do not receive a mass-produced product from an assembly line.
Instead, you receive a design object which is largely hand-made!
