Who we are

The Valoriani Company is a family-run refractory furnace dating back to the 1890 and which began with the production of storage jars and refractory bricks.

During the 1940’s Valoriani produced the refractory bricks with which hundreds of wood ovens were constructed in new houses built in the Italian countryside. In this way Valoriani helped to guarantee the farmer his main source of food which at the time was bread, baked in a wood oven. My father Silvio Valoriani designed, developed and supplied the first prefabricated wood-fired ovens using all the experience he accumulated throughout his career. The careful choice of raw materials and the development of the best structural design were key. Our dome sections in large interlocking pieces are still manufactured to exacting quality standards and perfect in all their proportions to this day. Despite countless attempts at imitation, VALORIANI ovens are the ORIGINAL and still the BEST.

In the 1960’s with the increase in the spending power of Italians, Valoriani added the professional VESUVIO series for professional use to fully satisfy the increased volumes of work demanded by the professional pizzeria.

Our values

The Valoriani Company remains the only refractory manufacturer to produce all the individual refractory components required for our ovens in-house. We manufacture all dome, arch and floor elements controlling our own supply chain in COTTO REFRATTARIO from source. We offer three types of cooking floor without having to adapt to raw materials bought in from the open market. Today we are able to produce a tailored oven based on the customer's needs. Valoriani ovens are available all over the world with related local certifications. We also collaborate with the most important associations in the sector: Slow Food, Gambero Rosso, AVPN (Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana).

Ultimately, we do not presume to be the best, but our centuries-old experience as COTTO REFRATTARIO producers combined with the thousands of ovens in operation all over the world, the recognized professionalism of the company represents the best guarantee to all pizza makers, retailers and distributors who we will feel honoured to be working with every day.
