Rubinetterie Treemme

Over the last 50 years, the Tuscan business has evolved from a small artisan workshop into a brand that is internationally renowned for the exceptional quality, innovation and designs of its products.

The company was founded in 1968 in Asciano, near the Italian city of Siena. It was originally called “Rubinetterie Toscane 3M” (“3M Tuscan Taps and Fittings”) after the three founding partners: Renato Michelangioli, Armando Medina and Guido Mencarelli. The current name “Rubinetterie Treemme” (“Treemme” is Italian for “Three Ms”) was introduced in 1989, during a period of substantial international expansion.

In recent decades, the second-generation members of the founding families have taken the helm of the company, with the support of a highly professional team. This has led to exponential growth, especially in exports. Rubinetterie Treemme has consolidated its presence in Europe and beyond while also venturing across the ocean to conquer new markets.

Rubinetterie Treemme keeps alive traditional values such as taking a customer-oriented approach and using high-quality materials, while also investing in research and technology in order to ensure that its products are increasingly innovative.

After 50 years, Rubinetterie Treemme is a strong, established business that keeps a close eye on the needs of a constantly changing market. Improvements are also underway on the structural front, as demonstrated by the recent introduction of new coating and electroplating systems and an overhaul of the entire production area in Asciano.

Thanks to Rubinetterie Treemme’s drive and development, many of its product ranges have won prestigious international awards in recognition of their designs, sustainability and technological innovation. The ADI Compasso d’Oro, German Design Award, Red Dot Design Award, ADI Ceramics Design Award, Grand Design Etico and Design Plus Award all feature among the company’s many accolades.
