Founded by Daniel Skapetze with the vision of combining design, quality and emotion, s.luce today stands for modern lighting that inspires people and lends every room a special charm.
As a German family-run business, we develop designer lighting with a clear mission: exceptional design, high-quality craftsmanship and excellent value for money. Thanks to our in-house development and direct production, we deliberately bypass the traditional route via importers and intermediaries. This enables us to offer our customers exclusive designer lighting of impressive quality at fair prices.
At the heart of our business is our showroom, covering over 1,200 m², in Simbach am Inn, Bavaria. Here, private customers, architects, interior designers and specialist retailers can experience innovative lighting solutions first-hand and receive personalised advice for individual projects. Guido Huber has been managing director of the company since January 2026. With his many years of management and strategic experience, he is providing key impetus for the further development of s.luce and guiding the company on its path of sustainable growth.
Our collections combine timeless elegance with innovative design possibilities. Ranges such as Santa, Orb, Ring and our modular canopy systems are characterised by a clear design language, high functionality and versatile applications – both in private homes and in sophisticated commercial projects.
For us, sustainability is not just a trend, but part of our responsibility. We use predominantly recyclable and plastic-free packaging, ship our products in a climate-friendly manner via DHL GoGreen, and rely on energy-efficient and durable materials. At the same time, we are actively involved in the local community, supporting social projects, investing in the training of young people and creating a working environment characterised by team spirit, passion and craftsmanship.
Behind s.luce is a dedicated team of 23 staff members who work with enthusiasm every day to develop exceptional lighting solutions. Every purchase supports a German family-run business that prioritises quality, service, innovation and long-term customer relationships.
We aim to inspire people and show how light can transform spaces. In our s.luce Villa, we showcase numerous real-life ‘before and after’ examples and provide inspiration for modern lighting concepts – from individual living spaces to holistic lighting solutions.
