SURCO interiors
Founded in 1933 in Azpeitia (Guipúzcoa), Spain, Azkue began as a manufacturer of handcrafted wooden furniture. The company quickly earned a strong reputation for exceptional design and quality. In 1981, Azkue solidified its place among Spain’s leading furniture producers with the launch of its renowned brand, NUEVA LINEA — celebrated for its innovative, functional, and exclusive designs.

In 2015, drawing on the expertise of a new management team, Azkue expanded into flooring with the launch of its SURCO parquet division. This new chapter focused on offering a comprehensive product range tailored to both contract projects and residential spaces. In the following years, SURCO Interiors began developing more integrated systems, translating the needs of architects and designers into intelligent, wood-based solutions.

Continuing its path of strategic growth, SURCO interiors acquired a state-of-the-art production facility in Porriño, Galicia, in 2024. Spanning approximately 100,000 m², the plant boasts a production capacity of 2 million m² per year. In 2025, the company expanded again with the acquisition of a production plant and sawmill in Poland, specializing in the production of lamella, birch plywood, and parquet and renamed officially to SURCO INTERIORS
