From teak to painted wood, powder-coated aluminium to stainless steel and woven resin to Batyline® fabric – any material selected by Tectona for the manufacturing of their pieces has been chosen for its ability to endure any type of weather over time. Fully resistant to temperature changes and UV rays, impervious to bad weather conditions and non-deformable, Tectona’s products last for seasons and years proving their durability.

We only use the best materials, selected for their resistance to external aggressions (UV, temperature variations, rain…). Our teak, selected for its high oil content, is dried then steam-treated to make it rotproof. Tectona also pioneered the use of synthetic materials such as woven resin, which is used around an ultra-light aluminium frame. Powder-coated aluminium, cast or in tubes, combines lightness with robustness and does not rust. With regard to fabrics, such as Batyline and Sunbrella: these are selected for their softness and solidity. All our products undergo rigorous quality control.
