A roofing panel is used to cover sloping roofs. It offers thermal insulation and an interior finish surface, while its internal stiffening elements ensure support. The underside may be covered in plaster, particleboard, paneling or another finish material. ArchiExpo offers mineral wool, fiberboard, rock wool, expanded polystyrene and other types of roof panel.
Such panels are used on sloped roofs in order to provide compact insulation. They are common in the attics of private homes to render the space habitable.
These panels constitute an insulating structure containing stiffening elements for strength. They insulate and form the ceiling of attics, while providing ventilation for the roof. Panels are usually 60 centimeters wide and up to 6.3 meters long.
Choice will depend on panel material, interior surface finish, texture and color, which can be combined to match nearly any decor.
