The simplicity of values combined to white and black colours, are like two attracting opposite. The natural wood surfaces unify the whole like the Yin and Yang continuity.
The volumes are defined by the warmth of the Italian walnut wood.
The tall units give rhythm to the space and organize the kitchen allowing the open elements to become a focus point where to expose the most precious objects of the house. The big central table divides the food storage area from the cocking space.

Smallbone of Devizes is a name synonymous with bespoke, handcrafted and beautifully designed kitchen furniture. The strong contemporary look dovetails with clever storage and state of the art accessories to create a kitchen lor today's way of life.
The rich, dark chocolate tones of Black Walnut contrast with the beaten silver handles, glass and mirror detail used throughout Visitors to Smallbone's Knightsbridge showroom will be able to see for themselves the exceptional craftsmanship and clean lines of this new addition to Smallbone's collections.
The collection features an unusual array of new ideas and innovation. A stunning combination of design techniques, including deeply recessed mirrored plinths and low level lighting create the illusion that the furniture is 'floating" above the floor, to give an open, airy space This is a kitchen (or life, a multi functional space for cooking, entertaining, working and relaxing.
The fronts of the cabinets are laced with horizontal panels of solid walnut which create cabinet storage modules. This, as you would expect with bespoke furniture, allows different options and designs. Behind the seven horizontal panels there may be a single shallow knife drawer at the top with three double drawers below or, alternatively, a single shallow top drawer followed by a deep store for china. This use of panels endows a smooth uniformity and cohesion to the lines of the cabinetry.
Bow fronted doors and drawers soften the square edges of the joinery, giving the kitchen a linear yet organic feel. Japanese-style sliding doors are another new feature, allowing the doors to be opened without disturbing items in front - lor example on a worktop.

It’s the masterly combination of carefully chosen American walnut veneer and the soft green/silver shine of the satiny reflection. Cosy warm nature and functional coolness compliment each other to form a fascinating blend of modern kitchen architecture. The special features: The Horizon zeyko system is completely without handles. And the matt, sealed walnut veneer is diagonal and made from one continuous piece. A masterpiece of workmanship and good taste.
