Verdura combines a unique block configuration and wall inclination with a truly positive connection (Posi-Dura) between the concrete blocks and Geosynthetic material to form a very secure wall system.

We have combined our design expertise, construction experience and unique products to offer attractive cost-effective systems for retaining walls and bridge abutments.
Developed over 25 years and proven in thousands of projects world-wide, these solutions offer real cost savings over traditional construction methods.
A Selection of Facing Types and Construction Options
The selection of a facing type will depend upon the end use of the structure, its location and the required design life. Tensar wall system are intended for use in structures requiring a 120 year design life, including major highways structures and load bearing bridge abutments. In this situation, the facing needs to be durable but it can also be attractive.

Process RENFOTER PANOGRIL® allows the realization of retaining walls in solid mass reinforced mineral facing.
It concerns the technique of the reinforcement of the grounds by not very extensible and flexible reinforcements (Standards NF P 94220-0 and 2) and of the recommendations and code of practice "the works out of earth reinforced".
The work is association:
- of a folded steel fabric, comprising a flat facing and a sole,
- of a solid mass of fill,
- reinforcements connected to the facing and narrowly overlapping in the embankment.
The facing consists of panels out of galvanized steel fabric, with vertical or inclined facing.
According to sought esthetics, space between the panel and the technical embankment is filled of stones, separate rollers of the embankment by geotextile, or with topsoil retained by a plait of vegetalisation, a plait coconut or a géogrille.
The reinforcements are out of hot galvanized steel fabrics, of form and size adapted to each project.
Fields of application: retaining walls or solid masses with vertical and tilted mineral facing, with vegetalized standard tilted facing, particularly adapted to the mixed works, walls in gabions, traps with stones, stiffening of slope, let us merlons antibruit, walls wing and wing.
Advantages:
- Self-stabilizing Panels of facing to the installation and with best held during the fill
- The horizontal return of the lattices of facing as well as connections between facing and sole ensures the behavior of the facing and the maintenance of the fruit.
- Simplicity of implementation thanks to the geometry of the panels and with the facility of connection of the reinforcements
- Low costs of the facing following required esthetics

Where ground water or loss of fines are not a consideration, contiguous bored piled walls offer a robust and economic ground support solution which can be constructed with a minimum of land take. Walls can be designed to work entirely in cantilever or to have additional support by means of ground anchorages for reasons of economy and efficiency. Pile diameters for our schemes range from 300mm to 750mm, retained heights may typically be up to 8 metres and we can use CFA, cased auger or rock drilling techniques as dictated by ground conditions and site constraints.

Secant pile walls comprise a series of interlocking (secanted) piles to form an essentially watertight wall. This system will be used where dry basement structures are to be built in water bearing ground and where maximum of floor space is to be released. The technique is frequently used (as are contiguous pile walls) on confined city sites as part of the 'top down' construction method of building basements and superstructures where the ground and below ground floors give structural support to the walls in both temporary and permanent build stages.
