Design outdoor bench in wood and metal for public spaces
FLY
LAB23
The solid structure of the FLY seat is made of galvanised and polyester powder coated steel, thickness 60/10 and it is constructed linking together two bearing elements, welded through a continuous wire welding and reinforced by four elements, 60/10 thick.
The upper part of FLY is characterised by a sinuous shape. The ribs are made from slats of solid exotic wood, thickness 40 mm, treated with natural waterproof oils. This makes the welding invisible. The seat is fixed to the bearing structure through hexagonal M8 screws fixed to the wood. The robust end supports, 80/10 thickness, are fixed on the bottom. The base of the metal structure is fixed to the ground through four M10 holes and the respective bolts.
Maximum dimensions: Hseat = 450 mm, Length = 2000 mm, Width of the seat = 450 mm, Total width = 800 mm.
All fixings are in stainless steel AISI304.
