Road bituminous waterproofing ASFIX

Hot applied elastomeric bituminous mastics. Range of 2 types of ASFIX (ASFIX 320 & ASFIX UNIVERSAL) to meet specific needs. Unique packing in continuous sheets for a gradual and better melting in boilers. Easier to handle in such sheets than in standard blocks. MAIN USES Range of 2 products, ASFIX 320 and ASFIX UNIVERSAL for specific uses: ASFIX 320: Filling of road cracks, joint sealing in bituminous surfaces. ASFIX UNIVERSAL: Joint sealing between pavements. Applied with primer. DESCRIPTION ASFIX 320 and ASFIX UNIVERSAL are delivered in 6 mm thick and 1 m wide continuous sheets. 500 kg packaging: delivered in wooden boxes. 200 kg packaging: delivered in cardboard boxes on pallets. 25 packaging: delivered in rolls. ASFIX 320 and ASFIX UNIVERSAL should be stored in a dry and cool environment. APPLICATIONS Surfaces should be dry and clean prior to application. ASFIX is heated up and mixed in special boilers between 170°C and 180°C during at least 30mn (it is not recommended to store the mastic more than one hour at that temperature). Just after application, ASFIX is covered with chippings (BB16) to prevent that mastic does not stick to the car tires.
