Solid external walls and Internal Walls For solid walls Hemelite blocks can be used to provide good levels of sound insulation, fire resistance and have a low weight to strength ratio when being used in residential, commercial and industrial applications. Hemelite blocks are high performance and will help you meet design standards, regulations and in some cases buildings insurance clauses. When used for external walls the blockwork should be rendered or clad. Cavity Walls  Hemelite Medium Dense & Lightweight blocks can be used in both inner and outer leafs of cavity walls offering high performance in thermal and acoustic performance, helping meet building regulations.
