Isolmant Special is the second generation of polyethylene, the new era of mats for soundproofing against impact noise, designed specifically with a new recipe which enhances long-term performance over the years (very low creep values). It is used in floating floors in which the elastic mat acts as a spring which, by minimising the vibration of the inertial mass composed of the screed and the flooring above, dissipates the noiseenergy.
Isolmant Special is recommended in all applications of conventional Isolmant for soundproofing horizontal partitions between storeys. The top quality of the material makes Isolmant Special particularly suitable for special applications or cases which require consistently high performance across the entire surface of the floor, reducing any differences in result to a minimum, particularly in the long term.
