Overview
BOREA is the latest development from AHT focusing on energy efficiency and contemporary design. Available as a full plug-in unit and as a semi plug-in (SPI) unit for integration into a waterloop (SPI system), the range enables fast, flexible installation and relocation while offering an increased total display area comparable to common remote multidecks.

Energy efficiency & operation
BOREA models span EEI classes from A to F depending on configuration, enabling significant energy savings. Units from 2 500 mm and above employ multi-circuit technology (two cooling circuits) to improve redundancy and temperature stability. Glass-door versions consume up to 40% less energy compared with the previous VENTO Eco model.

Heat recovery
SPI cabinets can utilise waste heat to heat storage areas or other store sections. Piping on the refrigeration shelf permits routing waste heat to an external pump station and condenser, removing the need for a dedicated machinery room.

Environment & climate
BOREA uses R290 (propane) and hermetic sealed systems to minimise environmental impact. Units are VDE approved and designed for low refrigerant leakage and high operational efficiency.
