Overview
BOREA FREEZE AIR is AHT’s latest generation of vertical multideck freezers developed for energy efficiency, modern design and outstanding product presentation. The range offers a larger total display area while maintaining excellent temperature stability and is available as a full plug-in freezing solution using the natural refrigerant propane (R290).

Flexible system
BOREA FREEZE AIR is designed for maximum flexibility in installation and store integration:

• Optimized frame construction allows direct installation against the wall without required distance.
• Supports different installation layouts and flexible options for price tag placement.
• Easily connectable to existing building condensate water drain.

Environment and climate
Units operate with a hermetically sealed cooling system containing less than 150 g refrigerant per circuit and use propane (R290), which provides low global warming potential and strong thermodynamic performance. All models are approved according to high safety standards (VDE).

Visual merchandising
Designed to maximise product visibility and presentation:

• Brilliant vertical LED lighting options: 4000K, 5000K or 6500K.
• Narrow door frames for an unobstructed view into the cabinet.
• Total display area (TDA) increased by approx. 5% compared to the previous KALEA series.

Highlights

• High energy savings: all models achieve an energy efficiency index (EEI) C; nightly hot gas defrost can reduce energy consumption by up to 28% compared to KALEA Freeze.
• Triple-glazed full glass panorama doors with integrated door frame heating for distortion-free product view and reduced icing sensitivity.
• Smart engineering: refrigeration compartment placed on top for easier service and maintenance; condenser designed for high accessibility and simple cleaning; side walls mountable without removing doors.
• Unified design: Chill and Freeze versions can be placed side by side for a consistent store appearance.
• Optimized airflow and advanced sealing concept to maintain stable temperatures for frozen goods.

Compatibility and options
BOREA FREEZE AIR can be equipped with AHT’s Active Monitoring System (AMS) for continuous remote monitoring. Units can be individually adapted to store design with a wide range of colours and numerous accessories available.
