This type of hood is ideal both for small high quality installations and for medium-sized or large kitchens. The performance of these hoods will depend on the ventilation unit fitted to the installation. This model will not be applicable in the following cases: •Unsuitable dimensions. Wall hoods deeper than 1350 mm, or island hoods wider than 2400 mm, where the rising vapour and fumes is too far from the filter collection system where the suction takes place (in these cases, it is advisable to install hoods with an inverted collection system) •Very deep ovens where the greatest fume and vapour outflow is through the front (tray trolley ovens). •Wood fired chicken roasters. With the high temperature rapidly generating rising gases, these cannot be caught if a grease trap is not installed in an inverted position.
