Arctic is a collection of lamps that reimagine reality through light—both their own and that of the natural and surrounding environment. Essential geometric shapes come together in modular arrangements that break apart and reform, playing with layers of reflection and transparency. The final structure resembles an Archimedean solid with no visible external faces, built from pentagonal elements radiating from a central point where a diffusing sphere is placed. Mirrored surfaces align and face each other, creating a dynamic interplay of reflections that shift with the viewer’s perspective and the surrounding space. Arctic is a modular mirrored volume shaped by the relationship between its parts. Guided by principles of intelligent, sustainable design, it invites the user to take an active role in its assembly.
