Sintesi, introduced in 1975 and first signed by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide, is an intelligent lighting system built from a small set of shared components. The reissued table version is the core element from which the system evolves, offering modularity and long-term adaptability for professional interiors and projects.
Design and construction
The lamp features a minimal metal structure with adjustable height and tilt composed of two C-shaped profiles that form a Y-shaped support. The light source is mounted on a frame with an E27 socket that accepts standard lamps and supports a reflector and a protective grid. Sintesi folds inward for compact packaging and ease of transport.
