Description

The Trois Rois lamp was originally conceived as part of The Council, the first space completed by Herzog & de Meuron for the Les Trois Rois hotel in Basel. An intimate room featuring two facing fireplaces and contrasting, tactile surfaces. Complex technical engineering and deep textile expertise come together in this portable, rechargeable, dimmable lamp with a whimsical character. It is also available in a die-cast aluminum version, suitable for more dynamic environments. The diffuser houses the light source, electronic components, and battery, casting a soft glow beneath the shade. The meeting point of the three legs discreetly hides the charging port, while a brass element on the top surface turns the lamp on and adjusts brightness with a gentle touch.
