Name: FLEXN; DuPOntTM FlexWrap NF Composition of the material: Tyvek®(HD-PE) butyl mass and paper Description and application of the product • THE SINGLE-SIDED FLEXIBLE AND ELASTIC TAPE IS MEANT TO SEAL THE TYVEK® MEMBRANES TO THE CHIMNEYS, WINDOWS, PIPES, DOOR THRESHOLDS, WINDOWSILLS, ETC. • THE USAGE IS THE MOST SUITABLE WHEN THE CONNECTION LINES ARE BENT AND ANGULAR. • THE TAPE IS COMPLETELY WATERPROOF AND RESISTANT TO WIND AND AGING. • IT ADHERES TO NONWOVEN MATERIALS, PLASTIC AND LAMINATED MEMBRANES Storage and installation conditions • Before usage it is recommended to make sure whether the tape is suitable for usage for intended purpose, i.e. whether it is chemically compatible with paints, coating, etc. • In order to receive the ideal adherence, the surface has to be dry and clean (without any dirt, fats or solvents). • The tape is cut by sharp and safe cutter or scissors. • It is recommended to use at ambient temperature above 0°C • The tape that is not used can be stored for up to 2 years in its original package in dry and clean environment. The storage temperature has to be between +5°C and +25°C, and the direct sunlight must be avoided. Preparation of surface The surface has to be free from dirt, humidity, ice, fat and other materials, which may reduce the adherence. The DuPontTM FlexWrap NF tape may be installed only in dry environment, where the air temperature is not below 0°C. Installation The most suitable installation is integral, i.e. without joints. Avoid wrinkles and blisters. While adhering, press the entire surface by hand in order to achieve even adherence.
