Dee Dee is the new project by BertO: it is a sofa in leather planned and created by BertO’s team with the most exclusive materials and the most advanced technology, the undisputed protagonist of the Dream Design Made in Meda. One of the most precious and important characteristics which make Dee Dee so desirable both for its design and comfort is the choice of upholstery in leather, specially selected to exalt the design of this model. Together with our artistic director in the Castello Lagravinese Studio and BertO’s Research and Development team – composed of craftsmen who create prototypes, tailors and upholsterers as well as Filippo Berto in person – we have selected an exclusive collection of barrel-dyed aniline and full grain leathers from hides of European origins. TECHNICAL INFORMATION Structure: in profiled metal with high resistance vertically and horizontally woven elastic straps. The backrests and armrests have a steel frame covered in fire-resistant polyurethane foam. The frame is further covered with lining coupled with canvas. The structure is supported by a base in profiled metal assembled with steel locking screws. Seat cushions: padding with inserts in polyurethane foam with different densities covered with quilted fabric padded with channelled goose-down. Backrest cushions: padding in channelled goose-down with non-deformable polyurethane foam inserts. Feet: sofa with feet in black embossed powdered steel height 15 cm. Upholstery: in completely removable fabric. In the leather version the covers of the frame are not removable while the cushion covers are always removable.
