The modular Iggy sofa, designed by Castello Lagravinese Studio, combines comfort, technology, and customization. After 18 months of research and development, the team created a versatile system with 25 modular elements, including seats, backrests, and armrests, adaptable to various spaces and styles.
The elliptical wooden legs are numerically controlled with grippy rubber bases and painted Iggy Grey. The seat is composed of layers of polyurethane foam and memory foam, with a structure made of folded sheet metal and Baydur angular joints. The webbing system ensures optimal comfort.
The backrests and armrests are made of polyurethane foam with metal inserts and feature curved lines reminiscent of a bar of soap. The sofa is completely removable and assembled without metal tips, using the Berto Eco Seal Master machine, which eliminates solvent-based glues, respecting the environment and the health of the customers.
