David modern sofa, in its linear configuration, is available in three sizes - 307, 267, and 237 cm - with a seat height of 42 cm and a depth of 56 cm. However, thanks to its 24 modular elements, it can be configured to create fully customised solutions, perfectly adaptable to any design requirement. The result of over 12 months of Research and Development, led by the designers Castello Lagravinese Studio in collaboration with the BertO technical office and prototype design team, David was conceived to redefine the concepts of design, comfort, and customisation. The raised structure is designed to convey a sense of lightness: elliptical feet, completely hidden from view, give the sofa a floating appearance, enhancing its sculptural form. Behind its elegant aesthetic lies advanced construction technology. Every detail is crafted to marry innovation with style - including the armrests, available in two versions: one with a down-filled cushion, the other with a natural oak tray. Both include an integrated USB-C port, while the tray version also features a wireless charger. The seat embodies design excellence through a cushion system made of high-density polyurethane foam, memory foam, and channelled goose down quilting - ensuring maximum comfort and softness. The back cushions, available in single or double formats, offer the choice between a more upright or a more relaxed seating posture. All of this is supported by a structure free from nails and staples, with pre-calibrated, pre-tensioned elastic webbing - delivering strength, durability, and sustainability.
