The product's vapour-permeable properties significantly reduce the risk of rot and fungal attack in the adjoining materials. In the compressed state, it provides a reliable seal against driving rain, dust, sound, draughts and heat loss. It is also classed under DIN 4102 Part 1 as a low-flammability material. To facilitate application, it is single-sided self-adhesive with a high bond strength. It is compatible with all standard sealants, acrylic, acrylic glass, polyacrylics, polyamides and other polymers, and allows temperature-independent installation. To facilitate application, the self-adhesive coat is backed with a tear-resistant, siliconized film.
