Description
Overview
AB Dining is a sculptural dining table that defines the space through a controlled, monolithic presence. Born as a reinterpretation of the 2017 AB Console, the table combines a wooden top with a rounded underside and a pair of elliptical legs in rigid polyurethane, creating an alternation of concave and convex surfaces and a unified, matt-lacquered appearance finished by hand.
Design
Designed by Aldo Bakker, 2026. Positioned between furniture and sculpture, the design focuses on formal purity, the interplay of light and shadow and precise craftsmanship. Joint lines and fixings are hidden to preserve the clarity of the volumes and the continuity of the surfaces.
Available sizes and finishes
Materials and finish
Wooden top with a rounded underside; elliptical legs in rigid polyurethane; matt lacquer finish applied and finished by hand to obtain a uniform, velvety surface; hidden fastenings; meticulous joinery to make seams imperceptible.
