Description

This armchair represents a refined sense of beauty found in the “land of trees (Japan)”. The characteristics of hardwood grown in Hokkaido stand out in the beautiful seamless piece of wood that flows from one leg to the armrest, backrest, and the other leg, just like the lounge chair. The column connecting the backrest and the stretcher was one of our innovative challenges. This new challenge gave the chair both good strength and a dainty look that generates a sense of solemn tension.
