The truss voids are filled with lightweight Mearlcrete for additional stiffness and compressive strength. The result is a semi-rigid pipe that provides 200 psi minimum pipe stiffness and unparalleled deflection – the ideal thermoplastic gravity sewer PVC pipe. Traditional rigid pipe materials can rupture when subjected to non-uniform loading, as they lack the ability to adjust to trench load variations. TRUSS PIPE combines high stiffness with flexibility; allowing it to resist variable loads while maintaining shape control.
